Make Your Own New Year’s Celebration Kit

New Years Party Kits in Food & Drink

Ok, I know, I know — you’ve only just started thinking about Christmas and here I am talking about New Year’s. But I just wanted to share this idea with you quickly before the magazine in which it appears is gone (and this magazine disappears fast off of shelves!). In the Holiday issue of Food & Drink that just came out yesterday and is currently available at LCBO stores in Ontario, I share a stylish way to get guests in the countdown mood with a little DIY kit.

It’s simple: gather packets of confetti, horns and noisemakers, and crowns and hats, and package them in gift bags or boxes for each of your guests. Hand the celebration kits out before midnight and everyone will have the equipment they need to bring in the New Year. Bonus points for coordinating your kits with your party decor.
