One of my favourite uses for one of my favourite wrapping materials isn’t to wrap a gift, but to make a wreath from it. Japanese watermark tissue is a very delicate but surprisingly durable paper that’s in a whole different world than your standard-issue tissue paper. It’s made from rayon — yep, the same fibre some clothing is made of — and it’s the main ingredient in this easy DIY wreath project. This wreath is a project from one of the workshops I teach, and now it’s available in a kit for you to make at home! The kit is $39 and contains all the materials you need to make a 12-inch wreath, including complete instructions. This is a limited edition colour for Spring 2013, so click the link to get it while you can.
