Bunny Love & Workshop Prep

This here is Harry, the bunny in residence at Toronto florist Coriander Girl. This afternoon, I popped into the shop to chat with owner Alison Westlake, who will be providing some arrangements for my upcoming Paper & Petals workshop at the Japanese Paper Place. It was hard to stay focused with such a cute little creature hopping around the store, but we have some great things planned for the class.

And I’m over the moon because Alison sent me home with this pretty little posy.

You can find more details about the workshop here. I’ll be demonstrating how to “wrap” bouquets and potted plants, and you’ll learn how to combine fine Japanese papers with flowers to make beautiful creations. Plus, there are a couple of hands-on projects you’ll get to make. If you haven’t signed up yet, do so soon!

Also check out the other workshops the Japanese Paper place is hosting this month, as part of their Living With Washi summit.
